Develop Social Emotional Learning Skills

DRUMBEAT is a rhythm based intervention program designed to develop social emotional learning skills in students of all ages and abilities - proven to affect positive changes in behavior.

The core of the DRUMBEAT program is structured across 6- 8 sessions of up to 20 students, and culminates in a performance for peers and family. Each session is centered on relationship themes including identity, teamwork, communication, values and managing emotions.

The DRUMBEAT program has been developed over a number of years and undergone several formal evaluations which have consistently shown beneficial outcomes across a range of social measures. The program applies both social learning theory and cognitive behavioral therapy to deliver a range of social emotional learning outcomes.
